PMP Exam Changes 2021
Project Management Professional certification is changing from PMBOK 6th edition to PMBOK 7th Edition from January 2nd, 2021.
New PMP focus on New Domains aligned to real-life practices.
1)People :Interpersonal skills
2)Process :Technical Project Management
3)Business Environment: Alignment with strategic goals & vision
New exam outline
Exam pattern will be as below table on each domain.

Exam will be divided equally between predictive project management approaches 50% and the other half will represent agile or hybrid approaches 50%.
PMI has worked based on the feedback from customer and stakeholders to
simplify the format so that PMP examination content outline easy to understand
What are Domain, Tasks, and Enablers in new PMP content?.
*Domain: Defined as the high-level knowledge area that is essential to the
practice of project management.
*Tasks: The underlying responsibilities of the project manager within each
domain area.
*Enablers: Illustrative examples of the work associated with the task. Please
note that enablers are not meant to be an exhaustive list but rather offer a
few examples to help demonstrate what the task encompasses.

Why content is changing?
Every 3 – 5 years, PMI conduct research to understand how the profession has
progressed, the impact of emerging trends, and how the responsibilities of
project managers have changed.
Why appear for exam before December
2020 or after?
Because the correct pattern of the current PMP content is well known and
correct exam strategies to pass the exam in first try with given tips and
techniques from our lead trainers for our PMP workshops. Post January 2nd
new PMP exam pattern will come to effect
and it’s not clear how exam will be structured
